NEWS ON THE MARCH

Top of the 9th inning. 10 more days to go, Fireballs. How are you feeling? Now that we've reached June here's what you can expect. Let's continue to be an incredible family!

Morning Cafe: This is the last time the cafe will be OPEN until next year.  Come in and enjoy some new artists(future islands, omd) and songs including an amazing and glorious anthem by Sinead O' Connor. 


Robert's Market - our visit will be on JUNE 12. Bring your singing voices!


ELA: We'll tidy up a few loose ends such as grammar, spelling, and figurative language

Read Aloud - Sophia's War by Avi. 
  • R.CCR.5. Analyze the structure of texts, including how specific sentences, paragraphs, and larger portions of the text (e.g., a section, chapter, scene, or stanza) relate to each other and the whole.
  • R.CCR.1. Read closely to determine what the text says explicitly and to make logical inferences from it; cite specific textual evidence when writing or speaking to support conclusions drawn from the text.

Review of Lesson 7-9 June 3
Book Club - The students are working in pairs. They're focusing on plot, characters, setting, conflict, resolutions, themes, literary devices, questions, etc.

History-Social Science:

UNIT 9 TEST WILL BE ON JUNE 3RD

Math: We'll focus on Unit 12 which covers prime factorization, greatest common factors, probability, ratios, and heart rate.
