  1. 1. Patrick Henry spread the word because he gave a very emotional speech that convinced many colonists to oppose the Stamp Act. This was held in House of Burgesses in Virginia, in 1765. Samuel Adams spread the word because he helped make the Committees of Correspondence. This helped colonists work together for independence.
    2. They were similar because they both made the final draft of the Declaration of Independence. They were both into science, and invented inventions of their own. Also, the both founded University's, and were into education.
    3. James Otis was one of the first people to fight against the idea of Parliament, which made laws for them. In 1761, he declared that this rule was unfair because the colonists didn't make the law, and them searching their homes as well was unfair. John Adams was a patriot and he spoke against the Stamp Act in 1765. Also, he spoke against the Towshend act in 1767. George Washington as well was a leader because he became the commander of the Continental Army. Even though he fought for the British in the French and Indian war, he didn't like the way the british were treating people.
    4. Each leader gave their best foot forward, and fought against by saying something and standing up to them. They each shared their idea about how badly these British were treating them, and gave people a different side of the story. These men gave people something to fight for, and gave them hope.
    5. His role in the French and Indian war wasn't much of a leader, but in the American Revolution, he was the one in the front, and he was the leader. He was the one to gain hope, and he was the man that gave people the urge to fight against these nasty people.
    6. James Otis was the man who said this quote which inspired many others. "Taxation without representation is tyranny". He was one of those men who shared their opinions loud and proud, and wanted things to change. The rest of the info. about James Otis is in my answer to #3.
