Girls and Boys
  • Someone(doesn't matter who) from each gender should throw out an email to their gender group. Please include me on the gender email so I can respond with questions.
  • The email should be a discussion about ideas for the boys vs. girls contest.
  • Talk about what you're thinking about to enhance your boys vs. girls contest.
  • Make sure the opposite gender isn't part of the threaded email so they don't see any of your cool ideas! Have fun collaborating!

    1. They would build the houses and make the money. Other then that, they sat around doing nothing while the women cooked them dinner....................
    2. The women did all of the housework and took care of the children.
    3. The Industrial Revolution is the period of time when more industries started popping up.
    4. I don't really know what "boating terms" means.

    1. I was on 140.
    2. I read to 154.
    3. Elijah was convinced by Preacher to go to a carnival. He has just met this white slave who enjoys his work as a slave.
    4. There are many different conflicts, but the main one right now is that Preacher may be trying to replace "Ma-Wee" with Elijah.
    5. He acts very calm. For example, when Preacher dragged him to this mess at the carnival, he didn't say a word, so they never fought.

  2. Miss Charlotte:
    1. The men had to work a lot like wood-cutting, mining, building, all of the strong work.

    2. They had to do the weaker chores like cooking, sewing, crafting, and cleaning.

    3. The Industrial Revolution involved the buzz of making things out of iron and other metals. Coalbrookdale is where they first discovered that you can smelt metals like iron to make into plates and other utensils, which is located in Britan.

    3. Buxton, Canada. It is surrounded by a forest which has a lake nearby.
    4. There isn't a conflict yet.
    5. I don't think that he is the antagonist, but the Preacher seems to be the antagonist so far because he stole four of Elijah's fish and made Elijah go to the carnival with him without his parents knowing. Elijah is the master at chunking rocks. His attitude, as his mom says, is very fra-gile when it comes to loop snakes.

    1. Men back then had to work a lot with body strength like Wood cutting and mining, instead of what men might do know like computer working and office jobs.
