GRAMMAR AND VOCABULARY

Tonight you'll work Grammar and Vocabulary.

PRESENT, PAST, AND FUTURE PERFECT TENSES

1. Write any sentence using the present perfect tense. Use Have/Has + past
2. Write any sentence using past perfect tense. Use HAD + past
3. Write any sentence using future perfect tense. Use WILL HAVE + past

YOU PICK THE VERB.

VOCABULARY
1. Write any sentence using CR(Lesson 12 words) or WW(Lesson 3). Underline the word.
2. Pick 5 different words.

    1. Willy HAS taken his toys back into it's place.

    Vocab.
    1. Emma's CIVILITY was a "thumbs up" in the restaurant, she was definitely not to be called UNCIVILIZED. The reason Emma was that CIVILIZED was because she COORDINATED with her mom to learn the CIVICS.

    1. Dinosaurs are extinct because they died out long ago.

    4. Even if it wasn't evident at first, after the teacher explained it, it was very easy to understand.
    5. Lions are carnivores because they eat meat.

    4. My hamster put his puny face to the bars of the cage nose-to-nose with the guinea pig.

    2. My dad HAD cleaned the dishes, so that the kitchen isn't messy.
    3. I WILL HAVE eaten the donut, because it looks so mouthwatering tasty.
    Vocabulary:
    1. The class will have to COORDINATE, to get the points needed, for the character ed. trip.
    2. There was a thermometer in Josephs mouth, because he had the flu, very badly.
    3. CIVICS, is very important to learn, because you learn about citizens rights.
    4. The CONSTRUCTION men were working hard to build the building at task.
    5. In writing, CONTRACTIONS make it easier, since you don't have to write down as many words.
    6. The dentist had to EXTRACT the tooth, because it needed to come out.

    2. Write any sentence using past perfect tense. I had hiked to the top of Windy Hill.
