1. What caused Europeans to become interested in Asia?

  7. 1. Because when Marco polo wrote a book about Asia, people soon began to become interested in Asia. Also, what ever land they could get, they would take, including riches.
    2. One of the goals was to convert people to catholics. The second goal was to make sure that protestants were no longer a thing so that catholicism was everywhere.
    3. France found Quebec and the Netherlands found Albany.
    4. Christopher Columbus was like an entrepreneur because he started a voyage across the atlantic ocean to the new world.
    5. The northwest passage was a passage to led to Asia, through the new world, but none successfully made it through the northwest passage. Ferdinand Magellan sailed south around south america, and made it to Asia.
    6. Portugal was interested in South, and Central America.
    7. Jacuperanga is 48 degrees north, and 25 degrees east.
    8. A chronometer is used to keep track of time.
